Temporary protected status has long been used as a humanitarian solution for migrants who are unable to return home safely, but efforts to give them a path to citizenship have reignited the debate around the U.S. immigration policy.


Certain foreign nationals who are in the United States may file Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, to request employment authorization and an Employment Authorization Document (EAD).


The Obama-era DACA program provides temporary work permits and protection from deportation for eligible individuals brought to the country without authorization as children.


These applications encompass all forms of USA immigration travel passports. Refugee travel passports, advance parole, and re-entry permits are all available for immediate processing.

Humanitarian Parole

Is granted to a foreign national (who is otherwise inadmissible) to temporarily enter the United States due to an emergency and urgent humanitarian reason or significant public benefit. Humanitarian parole is usually granted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
